DESIGN IT!
Learn and apply a Design Thinking approach to solve a community issue.
While Design Thinking sits at the centre of everything we do whenever we solve a problem, it’s great to step back once in a while to take it all in.
Students will work with Facilitators to unpack what Design Thinking really means, why big companies like Google are waving the design thinking flag, and how they can use this elegant approach to problem solving in their own lives and studies. And they do this while actually participating in a design sprint challenging them to respond to a prompt based in either one of our amazing exhibitions, other modules, or in an area of study they’re investigating back at school.
From a video game that helps spread positive mental health experiences, or a community shelter helping to address homelessness, to solving global hunger… it’s all on the table.
