Our Academic Engagement team catalyses and co-delivers partnered interdisciplinary opportunities for teaching, learning and research that engage the University of Melbourne community. We support students and academics across all disciplines and Faculties to spark deep inquiry through curricular and co-curricular activities and collaborations.
Students engage with our Academic Engagement Team in multiple ways, contexts, and depth including:
Curricular and co-curricular engagements with exhibitions and programs
Bespoke multi-disciplinary/multi-cohort engagements co-developed with academic colleagues
Opportunities to connect with museums and collections-focused experts (including Museum and Collections staff, and participating artists/collaborators)
Research-driven projects
Internships, residencies, and fellowships
Exploration of the architecture and physical spaces of the gallery
