Get a crash course in communicating science and create an informative poster.

Incredible STEM is all around us, but how can we share it with public audiences in an accessible and engaging way?

This module is a crash course in science communication. Focusing on four topics (Audience, Storytelling, Questioning, and Visual Communication), students will develop a poster centred around a piece of novel STEM research, or a current unit of study. With top tips and activities along the way, students will complete this module with a new lens to view and communicate science to the public.

+ Pairs well with...

This nifty module is an all-rounder and can take on the theme of any of our tours or modules. We also extend an open invitation for your students to bring topics and research from their current units of study along with them as a focus for their work.

More time = better outcomes. We recommend starting with at least two On Message modules, or attaching this to another module like Slide Skills, App of the Future, or Make it Work, so that students can really take time in applying their new knowledge.
