App of the Future
Work in a team to design and produce the next great app of the future.
How many apps do you have on your phone right now? We might hate to admit it, but technology helps us do pretty much everything these days, and apps help to package those services up into appealing, easy-to-use parcels.
Centring a Design Thinking framework, students will gather data from their peers in response to a prompt based either on one of our amazing exhibitions, other modules, or in an area of study they’re investigating back at school. With this, they will form teams to develop an app or website concept, which will be digitised using an app or web development platform.
What does the app of the future look like? Is it sustainable? Responsive? Intelligent? How will it make the world a better place?
Tackle this in a single module session, or spread the fun across a term as an ongoing project for your students.

While this module can be run as a completely self-contained project, it’s made even better by taking on the themes and knowledge of any of our other tours, modules, or even the units that your students are exploring in your subject back at school.
If you’re looking for recommendations though, we would suggest using one of our MENTAL or SWARM tours as a jumping off point.
