This event supports diversity and inclusion in the STEM fields by focusing on connecting women and gender diverse people together. This event is a speed-meeting event where you’ll have the unique opportunity to connect with industry-leaders working in STEM in direct conversation.

The event will bring together people from research, major technology companies, engineering firms, media, and academia with young people from across Melbourne for intimate conversations on their careers.

This event is part of National Science Week at Science Gallery Melbourne.

Guest Speaker: Vartika Kalapala, Chartered Accountant and Senior Manager, Strategy and Performance at ANZ Bank

Vartika is a qualified chartered accountant currently working at ANZ Bank as Senior Performance Manager in the Home Loans business. Over her 20 year career, spanning across New Zealand, UK and Australia, she has supported many businesses across various industries - market research, retail, gaming and hospitality, banking - to improve their performance. When she’s not helping businesses achieve their goals, she’s helping her 2 young children achieve their goals, whether it’s spelling a big word or drawing the perfect rainbow.
