Feels Good to Draw this Badly— Online Drawing Class

  • Science Gallery Melbourne The University of Melbourne, Parkville, VIC, 3010 Australia (map)

Join GORKIE for an online drawing workshop!

Explore your inner world with this reflective drawing workshop. Exercises are designed to help you move past any fear of drawing and get your feelings out on a page. The aim is not to produce a piece of fine art, but to approach whatever emerges with curiosity and play. This workshop is designed to explore the themes from Science Gallery Melbourne’s exhibition MENTAL.

I CAN’T DRAW. Can I come? Yes! People of all levels of experience are welcome. The run time is approximately 90 minutes + optional stay and share. Materials to have handy for the online workshop are your favourite pen, colouring pens, crayons and a notebook.

Is there an age requirement? This class is for people aged 15 and over.

"It was sort of like drawing as yoga." -Micki

"I invited my housemates to do this activity with me and although they came to it a bit nervous (not confident in drawing etc) they had an absolute blast." - Siobhan

This is a repeat version of the Feels Good to Draw this Badly workshop held in person February and April at Science Gallery Melbourne.
