May Friday Night Social

  • Science Gallery Melbourne The University of Melbourne, Parkville, VIC, 3010 Australia (map)

SHOUT SHOUT LET IT ALL OUT!  Australia’s first ever LGBTQIA+ youth choir shOUT are coming to Science Gallery for a very special performance with Auslan interpretation. These cats are serious business, having performed at festivals and at the Art Centre Melbourne. shOUT’s growing reputation recognises not only the calibre of the music they create, but their importance as emerging leaders of our community.

With more awesome young people in the mix, we have Signal arts crew curating some lovely video and performance art. Plus Born In A Taxi are back again with another super weird performance art thing (seriously, we love these people!). Resident DJ extraordinaire DJ Gaydad will once again be spinning some great tunes.

Our Friday Night Socials are a series of FREE EVENTS for self-confessed science nerds and art lovers who love trying something new, meeting new people and getting weird. Our BREAK THE BINARIES events focus on LGBTQIA+ identities and experiences. All members of the community and allies are welcome.
