Welcome to the Mystery Box – our cuboid enigma exploring the magic of the universe. This is your invitation to play a game with the unknown. What lies inside our arcane aquarium? Make your best guess. Each week, the answer will be revealed in an astonishing live performance.
What we don’t know can be unsettling. We are but small specks in the infinite universe after all. The unknown invites imagination, and there is no way to spark surprise, wonder and questions better than a little magic. Creating something out of nothing – a talent magicians and the cosmos have in common.

About the Performers
Lawrence Leung is a comedian, screenwriter and trickster. He was the writer/creator/presenter of UNBELIEVABLE, an ABC doco series that used fascinating and fun experiments to explain how and why humans believe in unexplainable phenomena. Currently, he’s an investigative comedian for the fact-finding ABC TV series WTFAQ.
Dr Vyom Sharma is a doctor, ABC broadcaster and media personality that debunks medical misinformation, pseudoscientific myths and bullshit on programs such as Q&A, The Drum and The Project. He’s also an award-winning mentalist who creates feats of mindreading.
Dom Chambers is a magician, comedian and magic designer. He’s an America’s Got Talent Finalist, has appeared on Penn&Teller’s Fool Us and represented Australia at FISM 2022 “The Olympics of Magic”. His original creations have appeared on stages around the world, from Edinburgh to Broadway NYC, as well as online in viral videos of stunning optical/perspective illusions.
Liam Jumpertz - An recognised inventor of magic illusions, and an experienced street magic performer, LJ brings to this project his ability to engage large audiences and create intimate experiences.
Caleb Street - A mentalist and science educator, Caleb combines his passion for science and illusions in this project, blending the two seamlessly into a unique experience.
Lachlan Wilde - A rising star in Australian magic, Lachlan Wilde is a multiple award-winning magician bringing his technical expertise and stage experience to the project.
