EMERGENCE[Y]: Student soundwaves

To explore the idea of EMERGENCE[Y], we called for student meditations illustrating the various responses to the cataclysmic shifts that form the backdrop to our world. In these short audio stories commissioned for the Science Gallery's latest show, journalism students at the university explore the spectrum of responses, from resistance to resilience to innovation. We hear stories of endurance in the face of climate crisis, as well as stories that chart our shift to sustainable practice. We hear elemental tales of human responses to fire and water, and we meet the animal advocates fighting to save endangered Australian species.
