In this self-directed experience, students will be immersed in transdisciplinary art/science installations on the theme of SWARM. In this exhibition, Science Gallery Melbourne is delving into the science and art behind what it means to be part of a pack. SWARM reflects on the pros and cons of collective behaviour, social movements, artificial intelligence and bio-communities.
Teachers are supported with resources to extend the student experience. A multimedia resource pack provides insight into exhibition themes, links to lectures, scientist and artist interviews, research, and curriculum-linked activities to undertake while on the self-directed visit.
