Students are invited to take part in an online interactive tour of MENTAL, the inaugural exhibition at Science Gallery Melbourne. This online tour showcases future-focused technologies that explore mental wellbeing and bring together current scientific research in new innovative ways.
Science Gallery learning facilitators – trained, passionate STEM university students – will lead students through the works centring thought-provoking discussion relating to the exhibition themes.
This program is delivered via a virtual classroom and the duration of this program is flexible to fit in with your school timetable and will focus on a selection of artworks from the exhibition.
Content warning: This exhibition contains some intense sensory experiences, confined spaces and lived experience of mental health.

Contemplate the implications of art and science co-existing, as they are welcomed to Science Gallery Melbourne.
Undertake a STEM facilitator-led tour of MENTAL, engaging with the key concepts of the exhibition.
Informally engage with University student facilitators to learn about STEM pathways.
Reflect with the group their experiences, thoughts and the impact of the exhibition.
