Chickenosaurus: an experimentation into play for all-ages

  • Science Gallery Melbourne The University of Melbourne, Parkville, VIC, 3010 Australia (map)

Enter a world inspired by the science-fictional (maybe soon to be factual) idea of the chickenosaurus – a theoretical experiment to reactivate ancient dinosaur genes in modern birds.

Participants eagerly draw chickenosaurus chimera animals.

We want you to pick up a pen and draw a chimera in an immersive art-space designed to spark your imagination. Or, why not 3D-model a mashup of species using Computer-Aided Design software, while being guided by our team of Learning Experience Facilitators, who are studying at university themselves. Will your chimera be a seaguana? A wormsquito? A tigerphant? Discover how our peer-to-peer STEM programs inspire secondary students to explore new technologies through unique hands-on experiences that combine science and art.
