Marc Vilanova

How can we listen beyond our physical perception of the world?

Step across the threshold into a glowing world of invisible resonance and gentle vibration. Technology has provided a way to access the unnoticed waves of energy around us, expanding our senses to better understand our surroundings. Revealing the imperceptible can also uncover the unseen ways humans are impacting the natural world. Listen to and touch the infrasonic sound waves which pulsate around us all the time by gently walking through the luminescent curtain. These sounds – emitted by waterfalls - are important natural beacons, forming a sensory basis for birds which guides long-distance migration patterns.

Can we preserve what we cannot perceive?
