In this online interactive tour, students will be immersed in transdisciplinary art/science installations on the theme of SWARM. In this exhibition, Science Gallery Melbourne is delving into the science and art behind what it means to be part of a pack. SWARM reflects on the pros and cons of collective behaviour, social movements, artificial intelligence and bio-communities.

Science Gallery learning facilitators – trained, passionate STEM university students – will lead students through the works centring thought-provoking discussion relating to the exhibition themes.

This program is delivered via a virtual classroom and the duration of this program is flexible to fit in with your school timetable and will focus on a selection of artworks from the exhibition.

Students will…

Undertake a STEM facilitator-led tour of SWARM, engaging with the key concepts of the exhibition.

Informally engage with University student facilitators to learn about STEM pathways.

Reflect and share with the group their experience and the impact of the exhibition.
