Teachers are invited to an afternoon to explore Science Gallery Melbourne’s second exhibition, SWARM.
Part exhibition, part experiment, SWARM uncovers the very essence of collective behaviour and questions what drives us to be social. From nanobots to native bees, superorganisms to social media, it asks us to question, is it better to be part of a pack or go it alone?
The Science Gallery Learning Team will lead teachers through the exhibition and share our peer-to-peer model of delivering engaging STEAM tours and workshops for secondary school students that focus on transferable skill and capability development.
All attendees will receive a digital SWARM Teacher Resource Pack containing activities, discussion topics and curriculum mapping relating to the exhibition themes.
Light refreshments provided. Bookings essential as places are limited.
